It is midafternoon. The Colorado air is becoming frigid as night begins it approach. John pulls on his black Northface coat and leans back against the refreshing grass. He closes his eyes trying to push every worry out of his mind. The business, school, family.
His father, Tony Zacchara, is a name in this town. The Zacchara name is said in hushed and reverent tones. Being a mob boss can have that effect on people. Therefore, his entire family has been labelled dangerous. And for most of his life John has lived up to that reputation. He is cocky and self-centered. He doesn't like to talk much, but when he says something the world gets quiet. But things are changing. Tony is pushing his young son into what he thinks is a 'lucritive' profession. And Johnny is becoming restless. John would be perfectly fine with letting his older sister take over the biz and just do something...normal.
But Tony would never allow that. No, 'the male line must carry the tradition'. Yeah right. Tony just wants his son under his eye. His oh so very paranoid eye. Like Johnny wanted to destroy his father? No. But Tony is too damn suspicious for his own good.

It is a nice day to go out for a swim or a walk. The second Bridget realized this, she waste no time to get out of her house. She is not the kind of person that can stay inside a house for a long time, she'll get cabin fever within a few days. Her work as a secretary bores the hell out of her, she didn't really planned to become a secretary for the mayor but when she applied for the job, she was desperate for one. Now that she's been working for two years, she regretted her decision.
She put on her over-sized cardigan over her red strapless dress, grabbed her camera and went out of the house. The walk from her house to the lake took only a short eight minutes. The lake was already filled with people from all ages. She smiled at a few strangers looking her way and just continued walking around the lake. Bridget deliberated whether or not she wants to jump into the water.
Bridget let her eyes roamed around wildly, and to her surprise, she caught a sight of a familiar figure. The male was lying on the grass with his eyes closed and after a split second, she identified the male as John. She remembered him from high school. He was a senior when she was a junior. A few years ago, they used to be a pair and Bridget was pleased with herself, scoring a senior guy. With a small smile on her face, she made her way towards him. "Johnny?" she spoke, her voice came out unsure.

Johnny opened his eyes at the sound of his name. Standing before him was a vision in red. Bridget Gordan is the ambitious blonde whom Johnny had dated his senior year in high school. Although dated is probably a very loose term. They are both hot young people who had jumped into a relationship. They hadn't known one another well and though it had ended well enough the two seemed to mere aquintances now. That was sad. And John had forgotten how beautiful she is.
He sat up, leaning against his elbows in the grass. "Well, well. Bridget Gordan as I live and breathe." John smiled softly up at her. Maybe Bridget was just what he needed today to take his mind off his problems. Bridget is almost pure fun bottled into a tiny person.
"Its a beautiful day, but I wouldn't have thought you would get to enjoy it. You spend most of your time with the mayor don't you? He must be a lonely widower, but you make it all better, don't you?" Johnny winked and chuckled softly, completely joking.

Bridget can't help but to grin at his choice of words. One of the things that totally knocked Bridget out of her feet about John back in high school was for the way he talked. "Oh you still remember me?" she asked, and brought her hand to her chest, putting in some drama. "How unexpected." There was no lie beneath her words, she really wasn't expecting John to remember not only her first name, but her last name too.
She sat down next to him without asking. It would be polite to ask him first but you know Bridget, never really think before she does something. She brought her legs close to her and put her arms around them, with her chin on the knees so she could have eye contact with John. Bridget didn't take his remark seriously. Knowing him, he is the kind that loves to joke. "Oh come on Johnny, do you really think I'm that low?" she asked, her eyes wincing to put on a fake expression.
Half of what he said was true though, the mayor is a widower and sometimes, Bridget caught him looking at her in a totally inappropriate way but that is as far as thing goes. She would never ever be involved sexually with the mayor. "What about you? Don't you have a girl to sleep with?"

John smiled, of course he remember her. "Ive got a good memory." He told her. Bridget sat down on the grass next to him. She curled her legs up to her chin and smiled at him. She looked like she was in a good mood, but who wouldn't be with this weather.
"Oh come on Johnny, do you really think I'm that low?"
Johnny, smirking up at her, shook is head. "Hey, I don't judge." Bridget swatted at him playful and be pretended to be wounded. "Ouch! Jerk." Johhny laughed and stuck his tongue out at her.
Bridget asked if he was sleeping with anyone, or more implied it. "Wrongo, Gordan. I'm a free man." Johnny winked. He didn't think of women that way, but it was fun to joke.

"I don't think it's because you have a good memory." She brought her finger to her chin, pretending to be thinking. After about three seconds, she moved her fingers to her hair, twirling her long strands around. "It's just that I'm unforgettable." she stated with one eyebrow raised, as if she was challenging him. Of course Bridget didn't mean it, the only reason she said that was to see how he would respond.
"You're a bigger jerk!" she stucked her tongue out to him back. Bridget rolled her eyes. John is an attractive man, just like he was in high school but she has got another man in her mind right now.
Bridget took out her cardigan and put it aside. She sprang to her legs without hesitating. "Hey, come on!" she yelled to John while making her way towards the water. Swiftly, she pulled her dress over her head, removing it. Underneath, she has a pink bikini on. She dived into the water, her legs brought close to her body like a canonball.
